FDB Software for Evo Premium:
The FDB software developed by Fungilab has been designed to work with the Evo Premium series. It offers the the possibility to program the viscometer for step, ramp and multi-step curves, and it is an important tool to study the viscosity behaviour of different liquids.

Control software:
Establishing viscosity programs, documenting the procedure and the results in real time are some of the options offered by the Fungilab Data Boss software developed by FUNGILAB. The software has been designed to be very intuitive. The option menu provides a clear view of the program. The help menu provides charts and descriptive texts that offer a clear explanation of the working options.

The VISCO BALL viscometer is mainly used for low viscosity substances such as used in:
- Mineral oil industry (oils, liquid hydrocarbons).
- Food industry (sugar solution, honey, beer, milk, gelatine, fruit juice).
- Chemical industry (polymer solutions, solvents, resin solutions, latex dispersions, adhesive solutions).
- Cosmetic/Pharmaceutical industry (raw materials, glycerine, emulsions, suspensions, solutions, extracts).
- Petroleum industry (light crude, machine oil, crude petroleum).
- Fuels (petrol, diesel oil, paraffin).
- Paper industry (emulsions, pigment dispersion, paper additives).
- Paints and varnishes (printing inks, varnishes, water lacquers, inks).
- Detergents (liquid washing agents, washing-up liquids, tenside solu- tions).

Measuring principle
The rolling and sliding movements of a ball through the sample liquid are timed in an inclined cylindrical measuring tube. The sample viscosity is correlated to the time a ball requires to traverse a definite distance. By turning the measuring tube upside down again the return of the ball may also be used for an additional measurement applying the return cons- tant. The test results are given as dynamic viscosity in the internationally standardized, absolute units of mPa·s.

The instrument is supplied with 6 balls, control thermometer (-1 to +26ºC) cleaning tools, calibration sheet and instruction manual.

The following parameters can be configured and shown on the LCD display:

- Maximum and minimum temperature limits. Heating element made of stainless steel INCOLOY resistant to high temperatures and corrosive environments. 

- Circulation Pump with adjustable flow rate suitable for external temperature control for Viscometers, polarimeters and refractometers, etc. 

- Cooling coil to maintain ambient temperatures using tap water.

- Select °C or °F

- Display resolution 0.1 °C

- External temperature (Probe). External temperature control connection using a Pt 100 probe.

- Over temperature set limits for alarm.

- Calibration Low liquid level indicator.

RS-232 interface for computer control or printing data.

External metal case coated in a corrosive resistant epoxy. All parts in contact with liquid are made of AISI 304 stainless steel.

Maximum working volume to maintain temperature: 20 litres.

A clamp and finger screw attach the unit to the tank, alternatively the extendible support bridge accessory can be used.

Minimum depth of the tank: 14cm.
